LOCAL ARTIST DEDICATES HER 9TH WORK TO NON-PROFIT,RAISING MONEY FOR BREAST CANCER RESEARCH

Bellevue, WA December 1 2003--Lori Peha Kezner, a Bellevue-based artist, has chosen to dedicate her latest artwork to benefit Breast Cancer Research. The Illinois-based Cancer Treatment Research Foundation was chosen as the designated charity for Lori's latest open series poster print "Soul of a Woman".

"I made this picture for every woman who's battled breast cancer", says Lori Peha Kezner. "We're glad to be working with Cancer Treatment Research Foundation, because 99 cents out of every dollar to late stage cancer research."

Lori Peha Kezner produces original artwork and open-series poster prints that directly benefit non-profit organizations and "Soul of a Woman" is the ninth work she has created for this purpose. When a poster is created a non-profit organization is chosen to receive a permanent donation of 40% each time a print of the artwork is sold. Non-Profits are chosen based on the following criteria:

1) What does the group promote
2) How established is the organization in the community
3) Who are the members

Cancer Treatment Research Foundation(CTRF) is solely focused on identifying and funding innovative science-based clinical cancer research worldwide. Since awarding its first grant in 1994, CTRF has supported some of the most gifted researchers in conventional, integrative, and complementary medicine by passing on 99 cents out of every dollar raised.

About Lori Peha Kezner
Lori is an artist, a former elementary teacher and now a mother. She has always enjoyed the medium of art and has created numerous works during her life ranging from children's themed clothing, wall murals and mixed media originals.
Together with her husband LLance, the two formed OneFarStar in 2002 which is dedicated to selling art that benefits non-profit organizations. Built into the cost of each item is a significant donation to the designated non-profit organization. Every production, from the images and techniques to the poetry and tag lines are completely original. 40% of the proceeds from each poster sale go to the designated organization as a permanent ongoing donation.
